Angelina Jolie's character in the film Mr & Mrs Smith has topped a magazine poll that names the 12 sexiest big screen assassins.The list, featured in the latest edition of men's magazine Maxim, puts Jolie's Jane Smith at No. 1, closely followed by Terminator 3's Kristanna Loken at No. 2.
X-Men's Rebecca Romijn was at No. 3, Kill Bill's Uma Thurman was at No. 4 and La Femme Nikita's Anne Parillaud at No. 5.
Romijn's inclusion is a surprise as her character in X-Men, Mystique, is blue and scaly.
Maxim said Jolie deserved the No. 1 spot because of her ability to "casually slip out of the house with S&M gear under her overcoat, kill a man in a high-priced hotel suite, and then gently float 60 stories to the street below like some German fetishist version of Mary Poppins."
